Cancellation Policy
At Trabahadoor, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both customers and service workers while maintaining the integrity of our platform.
Cancellation Guidelines
- Free cancellations are available up until 2 hours before the scheduled service time
- Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service will incur a cancellation fee of ₱150
- The cancellation fee must be paid before booking another service on the platform
For Customers
If you need to cancel a scheduled service:
- Open your Trabahadoor app and navigate to your upcoming appointments
- Select the service you wish to cancel
- Tap the "Cancel Service" button
- If possible, provide a reason for cancellation to help us improve our service
- Communication with your assigned service worker about your cancellation is encouraged
Please note: Repeated last-minute cancellations may affect your customer rating on the platform.
For Service Workers
If you need to cancel a service you've accepted:
- Open your Trabahadoor provider app and navigate to your upcoming jobs
- Select the service you cannot perform
- Tap the "Cancel Service" button
- Provide a detailed reason for the cancellation
- We strongly encourage you to message the customer directly to explain the situation
Please note: Frequent cancellations by service workers may affect their visibility and ranking on the platform.
Refund Process
For pre-paid services:
- Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled service will receive a refund minus the ₱150 cancellation fee
- Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days, depending on your payment method
No-Shows
If a customer or service worker fails to show up without any communication:
- Customers who don't show up for a scheduled service may be charged the full service amount
- Service workers who don't show up for a confirmed job may face temporary suspension from the platform
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented emergencies (medical emergencies, natural disasters, etc.), the cancellation fee may be waived. Please contact our customer support team at hello@trabahadoor.com with relevant documentation.
