We keep it straight.
No fine print traps. No jargon walls. Here's exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what you're agreeing to when you use Trabahadoor.
Last updated: April 30, 2026
The short version
- ✦ We collect only what's needed to run the platform.
- ✦ Your phone number is your login - we keep it private and never sell it.
- ✦ Worker location is only tracked during an active job.
- ✦ We don't sell your data to advertisers. Ever.
- ✦ You can request deletion of your account and data anytime.
1. Who We Are
Trabahadoor is a service marketplace operated by Advanced Thinkers, Co., a partnership registered under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with principal offices at 007 Kalipayan Road, Sagkahan District, Barangay 62-B, Tacloban City, Leyte 6500. 2. What We Collect - and Why
We do not collect: credit card numbers (payments go through authorized payment processors), social media logins, browsing history, or device contacts.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Run and improve the Trabahadoor platform and mobile apps.
- Verify worker identities, qualifications, and clearances before onboarding.
- Match customers with appropriately skilled workers in their area.
- Process payments, compute commissions, and maintain wallet records.
- Send job status updates, booking confirmations, and important account notices via SMS and push notification.
- Monitor service quality, investigate complaints, and resolve disputes.
- Comply with applicable Philippine laws and government regulations.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Who Sees Your Data
Other platform users
When you book a job, the assigned worker sees your name, city, and job details. When you apply for a job, the customer sees your name and profile. Reviews are visible to other users. Phone numbers are never shown between users - all communication goes through the in-app chat.
Area Partners
Our authorized Area Partners (local operators in each city) can access aggregate operational data for their area - job volumes, worker counts, and service metrics. They do not have access to your individual personal information or wallet data.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party services (cloud storage, push notification services, SMS gateways, payment processors) to operate the platform. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data for the services they provide to us.
Government authorities
We will disclose personal information if required by Philippine law, a valid court order, or a lawful request from government agencies - and only to the extent required.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will erase your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as transaction logs) under Philippine law for up to 5 years.
Worker GPS location data captured during a job is used in real time and is not retained as a searchable historical log after the job is closed.
6. How We Protect Your Data
Your data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure (AWS S3 with access controls), transmitted over HTTPS/TLS, and access is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. OTP codes expire within minutes and cannot be reused.
Despite these measures, no system is 100% immune to breaches. In the event of a data incident that affects you, we will notify you in accordance with the requirements of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173).
7. Your Rights Under Philippine Law
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- Be informed - know what data we hold about you and why.
- Access - request a copy of your personal data.
- Correct - update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erase - request deletion of your account and data.
- Object - opt out of specific processing activities where allowed by law.
- Complain - file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) at privacy.gov.ph.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@trabahadoor.com with the subject line "Data Privacy Request." We'll respond within 15 business days.
8. Children's Privacy
Trabahadoor is not intended for anyone under 18 years old. Worker applicants must be at least 18 to register. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account and associated data promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or Philippine law. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and - for significant changes - send a notification through the app. Continued use of the platform after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
